I described my items and they got the size estimate bang on, they offered refreshments after a long journey and were so flexible with arrival dates and times even welcoming our removals men like their own customers. I used Go Store to store all our household belongings as we waited for a house purchase to go through and I was delighted with the efficient and friendly service I received from whoever I dealt with. The facilities - even the customer toilets - are superb and the phone app for gaining access works well and is simple to use. I had occasion to also use their van to collect a stray item and I was amazed that it was offered at no cost. Highly recommended.

What can I say !!! Brilliant.Staff magic, helped me as a IT dyno sort everything out. Storage fantastic, lifts, trollies and everything you need plus being very secure.
We stored personal possessions at GoStore York ahead of getting a home extension. Staff were always helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We began with 50 sq. ft in October 2020. I recall the sense of relief when driving away after dropping off our first load. Our goods were out of the way and wouldn’t clutter up the house whilst the builders were in. I’m not a tech person but the App which allowed smart access to the building and lifts was easy to use and added to the sense of safety and protection applied, especially during pandemic restrictions. After the building work was completed, we slowly began to move stuff home. By June 2022 we had sufficiently reduced the amount in storage to allow us to move what remained into a smaller unit (35 sq. ft). Helpfully the staff were able to locate a smaller unit very close to our original, so transferring our goods from one to the other was not difficult. In November 2022 we downsized again to a 20 sq. ft unit, again close to the previous unit. We were completely out by Christmas 2022 and having given appropriate notice we were able to get some money from our final months’ storage. I’d use the facility again and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you GoStore.

It's £75.89 per week for a 145sqft room, £84.69 for 150sqft (??) and £58.29 for a 125sqft room. I made the mistake of filling in the form to find that out, the site told me they only have 1 left (sure!), and they haven't stopped ringing my phone twice a day for a week.

I came to Go Store not too sure on what I needed and how to get what I needed. I was greeted very warmly by Alec who made me feel comfortable and at ease, he gave me outstanding knowledge on what services I’d be best using and gave me amazing advice. I wasn’t swamped with figures and jargon, just good friendly easy to understand advice. I was even greeted by the owner and what a great guy, it really seems as if there’s no end to the help from him and his great team. I have two storage containers with Go Store York now. The process has been really positive throughout all the stages. Staff have been spot on and helped with all my needs, cant fault them! The access arrangement through the app have been really good. I intially thought it would be glitchy or difficult to use but its been really good. All round really good experience and getting exactly what I want, safe, secure and great staff!
Go Store York could not have been more helpful. Everyone I have spoken to and met has been friendly, informative and knowledgeable. My storage solutions were discussed and an appropriate size was agreed. No upselling, no pressure, no problems. I felt secure happy and relieved. The large car park, app and spacious facilities made moving my stuff in a doddle. Would 100% recommend! Customer service is fantastic. Moving home can be incredibly stressful and anything that can help take some of the pressure away is worth every penny.

My experience with GoStore York has been pretty faultless so far. Getting a quote was straightforward and they price matched a quote I had got from another company. Moving my belongings into the unit was easy and the free van hire was a godsend that day! I was impressed with the facility itself and because overall access is controlled via a secure app I was able to give my parents access after I had moved away, which is really handy. It also helps that I know the area around the facility is very safe, so I have no worries.Assuming the move out process is as smooth as the move in process, I would gladly recommend GoStore York to anyone. My top tips would be to:- Read the emails carefully and bring all the requested documentation with you when you move your stuff in. If you're prepared it makes the whole process very smooth and hassle-free.- Make use of the free van if you need it (you only pay a deposit + fuel).- Bring your own padlock for your unit if you already own one.- Arrange your own self-storage insurance separately if you can, as specialist insurers offer it quite cheaply.

I used Go Store in York to store my sons processions whilst on summer break from university. The whole process was extremely easy from beginning to end. Staff are very friendly, professional and helpful, they even managed to save me some money by suggesting our items would fit in a smaller unit, which they did.I wouldn't hesitate to use again if the need arose. The premises are very clean/ modern and the app makes access very easy whilst maintaining the highest level of security.
